Over Isabella Nichols’ 25-short-years on planet earth, the Danish-born, Sunshine Coast-based surfer has carved out a solid career taking wins on all levels of competitive surfing – World Junior wins, QS victories and finally – in 2022 – a victory at the Margaret River WSL Championship Tour event.
Having grown up on the punchy beaches of the Sunshine Coast, Bella developed a spark in her surfing that continued to blossom through her junior and QS career and now into the CT ranks.
On land, Nichols possesses a smile that can light a room, but once an event begins, Bella adopts a steely gaze that has melted some of surfing’s most icy competitors.
As the years go on, don’t be surprised if you see her trophy haul continue to grow.
